I started growing interest in urban skiing, and wanted to know what rails are good to hit. I heard alluminium is a no go, but what about steel rails with paint on them?
Steel rails with paint on them are fine, but definitely stay away from aluminum rails. If you're just getting into it make sure to start with easy down rails and work your way up to more progressive ones.
here you go op: this was my first urban rail, nice and fun not too technical!
really though, if you have a hometown skatepark a good way to practice is setting something up there, its a lot of fun too because you know the environment.
