An Oklahoma women was just beheaded by a muslim while at work

Gruesome new details have been revealed regarding a woman murdered in Moore, Oklahoma, Thursday. According to local outlets, she was beheaded by a man who was reportedly in the process of converting to Islam.

The victim, identified as Colleen Hufford, 54, died at the scene at Vaughan Foods, a food distribution company, after the violent attack unfolded around 4:05 p.m. at the hands of a former employee.

Alton Alexander Nolen, who was fired from the business before attacking Hufford and another coworker, is the primary suspect in the case. He was shot during the attack by an off-duty officer and remans hospitalized, but is expected to survive.



The horrific incident unfolded after Nolen, 30, was terminated at a different location, then reportedly drove to the front of the Vaughan Foods building, hit a vehicle and walked inside.

It was then that he began stabbing Hufford and “severed the victim’s head,” according to a Moore Police Department press release and KFOR-TV.

Nolen also reportedly attacked Traci Johnson, 43, another worker at the plant, before being shot by Mark Vaughn, the chief operating officer of the company and a reserve Oklahoma County Deputy.

Johnson is currently in stable condition; authorities believe the suspect would have killed the second victim had he not been stopped.

Police do not currently believe that Hufford and Johnson were targeted, but claim that they were in Nolen’s way after he entered the building.

Coworkers claim that Nolen had recently converted to Islam and that he had been attempting to convert them as well, according to police.

“After conducting interviews with coworkers of Nolen information was obtained that he recently … started trying to convert some of his coworkers to the Muslim religion,” Moore Police Department officer Jeremy Lewis said at a press conference Friday.

The officer added that the manner of death and initial statements from coworkers have led the FBI to get involved in helping explore Nolen’s background.

I'll just point out the story of the man beheaded on a Greyhound bus a while ago. He was sleeping when another man pulled out a knife and cut his head off before doing some other nasty shit. Turns out the murderer is a Chinese immigrant! No not the Chinese?!?! They're infiltrating the nation! They're gonna kill all Canadians! Or, this man suffers from schizophrenia and, "the voices told him the man was an alien who had to be killed before he killed everyone on the bus." (His words)

My point being there's lots of cool Chinese people here, and there's lots of rad (not radical) muslims in the U.S., in both cases it is just ONE person in ONE situation.

However it is kind of worrying to learn more and more about how many Calgary born and raised men are converting to islam and then going to fight with ISIS. I hope the good muslims here don't get a bad rep.

Seriously? No issue with our foreign policies? You think the occupation of Iraq was ok? How about Vietnam? There was no issue with that "conflict? Well it's clear that I'm not dealing with a humane or reasonable person, but I'll try anyway. Then in continuing my analogy, you're allignign with the "extremists" of our country, so as long as you personally don't have an issue with it, it's ok/justifiable?

The fact that the tea party hates middle eastern extremists, yet is considered an extreme part of the Republican party is just hilarious. Just shows how crazy they are.

shocker611I think the difference is that the general population of Christians spoke out against the KKK, meanwhile ISIS is gaining large swaths of territory murdering thousands of people along the way without a general outcry by the Muslim population of the world. Imagine if the KKK claimed territory in Mississippi and began murdering all people of different races. I think there would be something done.


How many muslims do you know? Do you know much about the general muslim population other than what the news tells you? aka theyre all bad andbthey all coming for your head.

The media will do anything to grab an audience these days. Was it really necessary to say the woman was beheaded? No. The only reason they did was because of this ISIS news. They knew such a title would draw an audience and therefore create more profit for them.

I really hate large news outlets.

Seriously? You don't think there is an outcry from Muslims or they are doing nothing? Oh yea, Muslims don't care that ISIS is just cruising around murdering Muslims. It's not like they haven't formed militias to fight against them, or are carrying out airstrikes against them, or are protesting against them around the globe. That definitely is not happening. Not at all.

What is your point, then? First, you say all extremist Muslims are bad (no argument there). Then you say the whole Muslim community is to blame for not stopping or resisting the extremists.

yeah there was another crazy chinaman who cut off some girls' head at virginia tech a few years ago- i think it was around the time of that grayhound story.

definitely a trend developing the chinese can't be trusted.

The fact that you don't believe that this was an act of terrorism because he was "converting to muslim" and wasn't actually muslim is pathetic. Pull your damn head out of your ass man.


Honestly, it very well could be. For example, someone in a very mentally unstable state that gets fired could easily kill someone. The fact that he cut off his head doesn't automatically make him some ISIS commy bastard. It does however point in the direction that he was heavily influenced by the ISIS style of killing.

In addition, Muslim =/= ISIS. This is a pretty bad generalization because ISIS has caused a ton of grief for Muslim people.
