2014 Line Chronic flex pattern question

The description for the 2014 Chronic says it has a symmetrical shape and flex. I know its not fully symmetrical because the tip is 121 and the tail is 117, but its pretty close.

They also list that it has symmetrical flex - does this mean the flex pattern is maximized wit a center mount? Is the factory recommended at the center, then? Or is it back?

Line knows that most likely that ski will get center mounted, so they made the flex pattern symmetrical. The reason they didn't make the ski symmetrical is because asymmetrical skis tend to carve slightly better than symmetrical even when center mounted.

This. Also to add on symmetrical flex means it has the same flex throughout the ski.
