DrZoidbergReal pools are usually like this anyway. The shallow end is all vert with a super tight transition, and the deep end is still mostly vert with a tight, but not as tight as the shallow end tranny. Obviously I don't mean a hard angle like lined, non concrete pools either. That's just like trying to skate a trapezoid.
I'd bet somebody would have concreted a transition into a pool within time. It was so diy then, so I'm sure somebody would have come up with the idea.
I havent seen a pool with a transition -ish bottom in my long life of 18 years in Sweden even private ones. So if the pools only where created like they are here(90 degree cubic shape at the bottom) I think skateboarding would be completly different
Reffering to "Lords of dogtown", skating trannys wasn't a thing in comps and stuff until they came up with the idea of skating empty pools. I mean riding a rounded wall is a pretty strange thing to do(I love it tho).
Im super stoked that it happen, imagine a skatepark without the trannys.
