B/S/T suggestion

Has it ever been suggested/ discussed to have a girl's buy/sell/trade section? I understand it wouldn't have as much content as the current forum but it's pretty difficult to find girls skis and gear how it is now.

Since this problem involves such a small percentage of ns'ers, maybe a more realistic idea would be to add an option to filter by male, female, or uni? So when you post your ad you can select the gender of the gear, and then you can select it while searching so you're not scrolling through so many pages?

I feel like a ton of girls wear "guys" outerwear anyways.... You could always start one up in the PMS cult or something?

It'd also add quite a bit of work to the people who actually put up the ads as they'd have to categorize all their stuff before simply uploading and selling.

There also aren't a whole ton of girl's on NS and even less on the b/s/t so theres' that. I feel like it'd end up like any of the other forums we tried last year and it'd die pretty quick.

Good points. It's not so much a problem for outerwear, but more for skis, boots, etc. I was thinking more of just selecting the gender for the whole ad not really the items individually. If that makes sense? When there's multiple things then I can see where there would be problems with it though.

You're right about there not being a lot of girls, which only adds to the frustration of looking for gear. It wouldn't make sense to make a separate forum but I think having a filter option would make it easier without being too complicated. Then again, I don't really know the process of adding that kind of feature so it might just be a huge pain in the ass and not worth it.

Unfortunately there isn't an easy way to add filter/templates/flags etc to the BST forum as it is right now. We have talked many times about making it more of a classifieds section, but general consensus has been to leave it as is and focus our time elsewhere
