So im my school on the east coast, the preppy look has started to seriously come back in the past 3-4 years. but now EVERY FUCKING SCRUB has on pastels and a vineyard vines shirt. like, bruh. why is it that one rich white kid has on a shirt and every mother fucker in a 50 mile radius has to wear the same thing.
They make quality clothes but it's high dollar. I don't like the look of it and can't afford it so it's a non issue for me. I agree with you though, it is everywhere.

It's not quality, nor high dollar.
Also it's a wonderful evolution, wearing Vineyard is like a wearing a giant red button that says: "I'm a class conformist narrow-minded douche."

$40 for a t shirt is expensive, and they do make nice clothes. If you don't consider $40 for a t shirt expensive then you're probably a wine critic/ style guru.

Indeed $40 dollars for a t-shirt is not expensive. Not surprising when VV is almost exclusively and poorly made in China. In addition judging by fit-pics, ill-fitting, and only available in obnoxious pastels.
It may be expensive to you right now at this point in your life but in the grand scheme of clothing as a whole it's nowhere near expensive.

You have a good point. What does your typical outfit cost?
I make a point to laugh, or at least smirk, at people I see wearing VV. That shit is just pathetic...not good looking, shows that the wearer has no sense of style and just buys into the hype, and is a douchebag.

It doesn't matter, if you put in an effort you can great in a few dozen dollars worth of H&M/Uniqlo whilst some people spend several K's on SLP and RO and look like walking turds because they know jack shit and think expensive=must look good on me.

The clothes definitely help me figure out who I don't want to date.
yungsteezeFuck vineyard vines fuck polo fuck sperries /thread
Why Polo though? It's actually nice stuff, and if you know where to look you can find deals. I've never spent over 30 dollars on a RL Polo, but they're some of my favorite shirts that I own.

haha Ralph's alright but it's just really annoying because at my school everybody follows the preppy trend lookin like clowns in pink shorts
They have good stuff but its a bit over bearing at times in terms of the colors. VV is for the high schoolers...brooks brothers is where its at next level up. A bit more refined and not as obnoxious colors...always good to rock some bright ass pants once in a while though.
