You're off to a good start by posting on Newschoolers. This is easily the most helpful and legitimate way to get spancered.

Well the worst way is probably to get really good at skiing and win competitions or put out banger edits. So don't do that or anything like it and you'll get sponsored in no time.

Go annoy a shop owner every waking second of the day. They will eventually give in and sponsor you. Or plan B, get good.

I'm going to assume you have a vagina and can stand up on skis. If that's true, then you should already be sponsored.

Read the article about Elyse Saugstad in POWDER mags 2014 ctober issue. Great article and tells you how she got sponsored. Unfortunately you might have your work cut out for you.

Checklist for getting sponsored. Pink name edition

Be good at skiing. (Be comfortable with almost every feature in the park, have a good sized trick bag, etc.)

Compete. Get on the podium.

Put out edits.

Find a small sponsor first. A small clothing company, or a ski shop should be good. It's very hard to get sponsored by the larger companies. (Took me 3 seasons to get sponsored by protec, and they aren't even that big)

Remember sponsorship isn't everything.
