An Aussie with no idea on gear

Heading to steamboat in january for a month..

As close as i get to snow is my kitchen freezer

Any advice on jackets/pants and what brands to search for?

im 6"1 190lb/85kg/120 green bullets

Saga is quality gear from what i see...maybe a little pricey tho

maybe even ski's advice too

If you're riding a resort mainly, I've learned that any 5-10k/5-10k winter jacket works. Hell a lot of people I know can even get away with only layering under a sweatshirt for the whole season. However, If I had to recommend some specific jackets, I would say the Armada Harlaut Jacket and the Salomon Sashay would both be right on choices.

Personally, I would stay away from Saga though. I've always known their fit to be pretty wack, and their durability is really hit and miss.

cheers man...decent prices too, yea i do worry about the tailored fit too.

How about ski's, would you recommend running around 100mm width?
