Ski Size?

So i am 5'10" but i want a pair of skis that I can easily spin in. I was thinking about getting a pair of 166cm skis for this purpose. (I figure a shorter ski means I'll be able to control them more)

Any thoughts on this?

Depends on if you prefer jumps or rails. I find that shorter skis are harder to control at least on jumps. If you mostly hit jumps I would go longer, but if you only hit rails go shorter.

166 is way too short unless you are extremely light for your height, go around 175
