Here's the story:
I go to these woods were there is a small system of trails, and people build jumps at this one section. There are these two jumps, one dinky and one is a 2-3 foot tall table top. The table top is so incredibly smooth to hit. It's just a wicked comfortable jump, and I have no idea how the other people who come here made it.
I've tried making jumps that are fun, but I end up with these deadly not fun at all jumps. I am currently building a big jump like 4.5 feet tall, out of boards and logs. I really spent a ton of time and will have to spend even more on this jump, so my question is:
How do you make a jump that is fun to hit? I'm looking for takeoff angles, transition tips, size to landing ratio, ANYTHING that will help me make this monster the most fun and safe jump I can.
P.S. This monster jump is kinda like this EXCEPT the supports are made of logs and there is NO transition on the wooden ramp part, there is a small dirt mound at the bottom for my transition on to this thing
