I am having such a challenging time in my differential equations class. So as always, I have come to the wise math gods on newschoolers. Here's the problem:

Suppose V(t) = 2cos(3t) (the voltage source V(t) is oscillating periodically). If R=4 and C=.5, use Euler's method to compute values of the solutions with the given initial conditions over the interval 0

Let's start by using correct notation. C is not current. C can be a lot of things, but not current. Current is I, thus, V=IR.
So, V(t)=2cos(3t) with initial condition I=0.5 and R=4, from V=IR. Now this problem actually makes sense.
Euler's method kinda fucking sucks cuz it's actually often more of a pain in the ass to deal with than just solving the ODE. Basically, you're connecting the dots, and controlling your error propagation via step size. I literally had to just sit silently and concentrate really hard for a while and pick apart the formula in my mind a few times to understand it. The Wikipedia page seems pretty good for a write up of the formula though.
