Snowy Range

I just moved to Fort Collins, I'm not buying a pass because a) I don't fuckswit ski traffic b) I'll be back working on Snowmass during breaks and c) hopefully touring a good bit up Cameron pass.

But I just found out about Snowy Ridge, its like only 1.5 hours away and you can get 4 days for 99 bucks which seems rad to me.

So hows the skiing at Snowy Ridge? Hows the park? Is there good off piste shit?

(it'd have to be pretty bad for 25/day not to be worth it)

Never been, but I know they have a park and it's expanding. I also hear the backside is pretty legit, but that's all I know.

Everything is pretty small up there (of course). Runs are pretty short from what I found and nothing gnarly at all. Def a beginner ski area.

I live in Laramie and I ski there all winter. Its super small. The park is bogus compared to what you will find in Colorado. Its not bad for just fooling around on a weekend.

I live in Laramie too and Snowy Range is like my home. If you know where to go there's some super fun tree skiing and really good snow. The lodge is awesome you just set your stuff in there and don't have to worry about it all day. As for the park, it isn't perfect but it's not crowded and has some really fun features. Hot laps all day. Definitely worth your money.
