KingGeedorahPretty sure that he said part of the reason he was doing the direct from the maker business model was so that he didn't have to go to tradeshows and deal with all of that.
Plus, he makes them throughout the year rather than all at the beginning of the season, and I doubt that stores would be placing orders multiple times throughout the season rather than just at the beginning.

frankcolderfuck economics, shits confusing
CaseyLong story short EVO gets a better price than you do, because you aren't buying 20 pairs of skis you are buying one.
JskisLincoln
Sheesh, I'm the easiest to get a hold of any employee of any ski company in the world, If you or anyone wants to know what's up, just ask me, seriously. Thanks for bringing this up anyways though, so now I'll answer the question you forgot to ask:
- I'm not selling J skis at discount for this reason
- Evo is not selling J skis at discount for the same reason
- Evo & J skis is partnership = we work together for the good of the brand . . .not against each other to ruin the brand.
- Evo is the exclusive J retailer this season in America so that we can keep tight control together over how product is sold, communicated & serviced to the consumer to maintain J skis level of service & value.
- I decided to approach Evo on selling my product because I want to bring my product to more skiers. I have a few thousand people visiting my site, Evo has hundreds of thousands visiting theirs, so it's good to get my product in front of more skiers without sacrificing J product or consumer experience.
- I've known Bryce Phillips my entire career, he owns Evo and still runs it and we have a mutual respect for each other as skiers, business people, as well as each other's vision. He and his shop is on the same page as me and my brand, so it made sense to give it a try with them.
- No I don't need to waste time and money attending tradeshows to sell to Evo
- If this does not work out for the benefit of us both, we'll make changes and evolve along the way OR decide to stop all together and move on, all good! I started this company to try new things, this is one of them.
- So far Evo only ordered around 30 pair of skis total just to test out this new approach. I currently sell that many every 14 days on my site, so I don't expect their inventory to last long hahaha.
Thanks everyone on NS for helping spread the word and your continued support of my ski making adventures!
