413Crewpluse i can take it in my pool
SteezyJapaneezyIts hard to tell since I dont know your budget. If its under 500, get a gopro. Otherwise, remember that you need to pay for a decent lens+the camera itself , which often costs more than a grand.
413Crewmy budget is like 200

omnidataAn ARRI ALEXA mounted with Angenieux's Optimo 24-290 f/2.5 will eat that little baby Action camera and my-first-dslr as a light hors d'œuvre. It's not much heavier either.
Jakx~Well thanks for the boner. Just one question, does that shoot 10k?

CheddarJackNope. 69k actually
DingoSeanPretty sure it does 420k if you wrap it in papers.
Cnoel7The thing about a dslr like the t3i is that it is more of an investment, the longer you have it you'll be able to build up your arsenal of lenses and equipment to where over time you can see your film making skills and quality really grow. I just got my dslr last year and watching videos I've made from a year ago till today there a huge difference and it's awesome to see that growth and it's kind of what makes filming fun. But I mean you can't go wrong with a gopro either, you'll get solid shots right out of the box but its not really a 'film-making camera' its more of a piece of equipment. Don't get me wrong you can make super cool shit with go pro's but you're still very limited. But then again you have a fish eye right there which will be probably what you'll film with most. Idk make a pro's and con's list lol
LoeyIPHONE 6 belive it or nah but 1080p at 60fps and slow mo at 230fps thats equivalent to a gopro but without the fisheye so the shot looks like a canon. plus its 200 #iphoneeditsarein
