Magnus and The Bunch got robbed!

Never heard a room go from dead silent to fucking loud like I did when Magnus' name came up for Rookie of the Year. Not gonna lie, when Nick won, I was pretty bummed. Same exact thing happened with Finesse.

Hopefully people start accepting The Bunch's approach to skiing...cause those guys are the future.

It's mostly just personal opinion I guess, and McNutt did enough to deserve the win for sure, but the vibe just seemed like Magnus had it won and then they announced Nick's name. I guess it's more that I feel like no one understands The Bunch's style yet and they aren't getting the credit they deserve.

The Bunch is straight up on a murder train and possibly ahead of the times. No other crew is putting out content that is constantly progressing in such creative ways.

McNutt is a killer skier but i agree Magnus deserves more recognition.

On a side note when is Finesse available online?

shit like this is just really hard to judge. mcnutt goes out into the bc and straight SLAYS it. pillows, cliffs, booters, everything murdered. with crazy switch landings. magnus makes any park a playground and makes it look like nothing. also insanely unique and brings a whole new feeling to an edit. so how are you going to compare these two skiiers? someones gotta go home pissed and either way i am bummed/happy

I think it's a little early to be saying someone got robbed, when nobody other than the judges were privy to all the content. With that being said, I got nothing but respect and love for Magnus & The Bunch!

Alright, fair enough. Misleading thread title is misleading. I guess I was more making comment on the crowd reaction than the judging. Like I said, nothing against McNutt cause he shreads, and absolutely nothing against the judging, since I can't judge what I haven't seen.

The host seemed like he had no idea what to truly expect since if3 is not even close to your typical award show and that he was trying way too hard to be funny. Guy was weird

I think McNutt is a better traditional skier with way more backcountry prowess, Magnus, however, is a better creative urban/park skier. that being said, there has to be some bias in the judging. I'm not taking sides just making a observation...
