Profahoben_212Shut. The. Fuck. Up.
Gods_Fatheryou offended?
VCharetteHoly shit I had to login to tell you how much you fucking suck.
Gods_Fatherhere's a couple other examples:
"differences in time"
"differences in weight"
WattsLike I said, people like you, who go through life thinking it's grammatically correct to say "difference in there and their" because it's grammatically correct to say "differences in weight."
Just to clarify for you (though I doubt you'll believe me), saying "difference in there and their" is not correct.
Gods_Fatherlol
WattsI'm just saying, if you're going to ridicule the grammar of others over and over again, at least use it right yourself.
Gods_Father.....if you're going to try to ridicule someone and tell them that they are "incorrect", at least be right yourself. hypocrite...just saying.
Gods_Fatheroh a boy on the internet
Barefootin_Fiendit's not your fault you don't understand adult conversations.
WattsI was right; saying "the difference in there and their" is not correct.
Like you said, you're ESL, so just trust me on this.

Gods_Fathertrust you? you sound like a tabloid media outlet. I'd rather trust linguistics, thanks though.
""Difference In" is also used when you are referring to the difference between two things by pointing out the difference itself (i.e. the ONE thing that's different). Consider these two ways of saying the same thing: "There's a difference in the way you use 'cold' and 'frigid'," versus "There's a difference between 'cold' and 'frigid'."
SwitchMisty540This thread is worthless without proper spelling and punctuation. I can't understand half the shit you entitled pricks write.
Side note: The ass-clown talking about his parents being born in the 1920s is obviously a troll so quit feeding him. Do the fucking math real quick to figure out that he would be a crusty old fuck if his parents were born in the 20s. My grandparents were barely born in the 20s and I'm a crusty old fuck. Jesus. What happened to this site?
Gods_FatherAdult: rabble rabble rabble (talking to people on train)
Barefootin: (enters conversation).....will you please shutup! I'm not mad at all though.....I swear.
does that look right?
hey, btw....maybe I just called you a boy on the internet b/c it made me smile?

Gods_Fatherforest gump is English first language, like you......I wouldn't just trust what he thinks.
WattsRight, except you didn't say "there's a difference in the way you use there, their, and they're." You said: "differences in there, their, they're"
See the difference? If not, I can't help you, and I'm done arguing.
zzzskizzzSick reverse alias, your problem is you don't have any reading comprehension. you're telling me you read the comment "The Great Depression your argument is invalid." Then read the response as oh yeah I forgot my parents were born in the 1920's. Then the only conclusion that you can come to from that comment. Is that I'm claiming my parents were born in the 1920's. think about that real quick and then get back to me Mr food.
Barefootin_Fiendi'm calling you a bumbling idiot because of the pompous do no wrong attitude that you've presented throughout this entire thread.
Gods_Fathernope that wasn't me lol...
but he's right, you are trolling here....how could your parents be solely responsible for voting in a president if your grandparents generation also contributed to his presidency.
"my grandparents didn't do that"....alright, buddy.
Gods_Fatherwell, first off.....let me just start by saying how proud I am of you for calling me that.
what presentation of "do no wrong attitude" are you referring to? b/c last time I checked, asking questions does not mean I expect an error-free world?
and really....you're just going to show a difference in our sense of humour.....and then hope that I'm offended by that? wow hahahahahah!
since that "adult conversation" wasn't adequate enough I will continue:
Barefootin: the only reason I interrupted your conversation was because I was feeling very happy. I was not bothered at all...
Adult: really....you told me to shutup because you were happy? and if you told a crying baby's mother to shutup her loud baby would that be b/c you are happy too?
Barefootin: when you are an adult you will understand these things. (fallacy...)
zzzskizzzThat comment was actually about how a dumb ass could read a comment saying O yeah I forgot my parents were born in the 1920's try again. And then take it as a literal statement now who's defecting?

Gods_Fathernot entirely, he called you an "obvious troll"...just b/c he only chose to use one thing you said as an example does not mean that there are not more.
and to answer you, you are the one who is still "defecting" since you still won't provide an answer to how your parents could be solely responsible for voting in a president when your grandparents placed votes in the exact same elections? what am I deflecting from?
zzzskizzzBoth my grandparents from both sides of my family are dead. Yeah some old people voted, but that was a tiny subsection of the vote hmmm I wounder who the main base of voters were? I don't see what your trying to argue that some older people were still alive, and voted, great man solid point. Now I wound which generation is more responsible for the country going to shit, a bunch of old people in retirement homes who voted. Or the people active who have the active places in the government, banks, wall street and taking out most of the loans they new they could never pay back. My grandparents didn't do that my parents did. It is very possible your mom dad and grandparents did all that, I wouldn't be surprised if your genetics run in your family.
zzzskizzzYeah some old people voted
Gods_FatherTHIS IS FUCKING GOLD!
Barefootin_Fienddamn. I really didn't mean to make fun of the retarded kid. I thought he was just on the slow side, but apparently he legit handicapped.
zzzskizzzmissing the main point as usual
Gods_Fatheryour point was that they were not the majority population of the voters......which is completely irrelevant lol because they still participated equally therefore hold equal responsibility. but somehow they "didn't do it".
I guess they take a tally of the age of voters and the age demographic which has the highest population will be the population of votes that are counted...all other age demographics will have their votes discarded and nulled? I don't think that's how it works in your country but I could be wrong lol....

Gods_Fatherwhere in this entire thread did you "make fun" of any individual?

zzzskizzzYou have made rational discourse so hard for me by how much you have been jumping around so ill leave you with this. Parents generation were kids had a better time finding jobs, the country was in a better place when my grandparents were running the show. I'm sure you'll bring this back to voting which is not my point, and not a not the biggest factor of why we're doing so poorly, i don't know why thats the only point you keep making, i assume is something i said 2 pages ago about bush. Grandparents generation started to retire and die, my dad were born in 1950 a generation is about 25 years i don't think too many people from 1925 were around, or if the are they were not in wall street in 2008 or taking loans on houses younger people did that. Genetics run in the family, your unintelligent, you have made that very clear, so your parents and grandparents are most likely unintelligent as well. put in that last part eli5 you're welcome.
Barefootin_Fiendwell, for starters I did just refer to you as "the retarded kid", but apparently you're too slow to pick up on that one, eh champ? doesn't surprise me.

Gods_Fatheroh i do, but you said you cannot use "between" and "in" interchangeably in the English language when comparing a difference? that's incorrect...im esl and even I know that.
Gods_Fatherdid you stop posting b/c you realized that your country actually had senators who were born in 1933 and that fact disintegrated everything you thought you previously knew about life and age, zzzski? or did you do like I suggested and go outside to look at how old some living people are?
zzzskizzzIf you think anybody is going to open this thread and think you won this argument, good on you man.
