My point was that the only plausible reason why this fucking jamoke would make this thread is that he feels insecure about his own style or whatever and requires some sort of release to make himself feel better about what he's got going on, along with the rest of the negative posters in here. At the end of the day, the vast majority of people realize that the style is hot fire and you guys are just hating for the sake of hating.

ID you're trying to hard it's dumb but do what ever you feel. One of my buddies used to have crazy arm bang actions going a long time ago when he was all burnt and skiing park with no poles.

Idk. I'll crank up my old school rap and do whatever feels good. Some stuff looks good some stuff doesn't, but if it feels good, that's what I'm doing.

Wouldn't really call that forced. It's like if you're skiing groomers without poles and you're bent at the kneees, most times when getting more upright you'd have some arm bang.

haha I just thought this single shot was bizarre and forced. I'm actually not "insecure" about my park skiing in any fashion as i'm a torn ACL, broken leg, collapsed arch, (3) concussions deep and a full time job in SF deep...in essence, I retired from the game a long time ago and would rather drink beer and lap powder runs on my days off. The edit was wicked, this shot was not. Kid seems like a good enough skier not to force it. My point of the thread was this was the complete opposite of what this style is supposed to be, (Minimal) . Shit starts subtle, then people take it too far and ruin it. This, is what this landing did for me.

To those who generalize very noticable afterbang/armsterbang as being forced; I really don't think it is a significant amount of the time. If you ride with a certain mindset then your body follows the way you think, and for some people this includes some gnarly arm movements or exaggerated landing poses. Even if it is forced, let up on people, it's their style. You don't have to like it but it would sure suck if everyone rode the same way.

Also, Hyllengren has a way sick arm-bang/even some wrist bang.
