pussyfooterNo. Not at all. FCP is extremely outdates and runs slower on newer computers than adobe. FCP only used 4gb of ram, its a 32bit program, its old as fuck. Adobe is cheaper/easier to get for free and is 100 times better. I dont know a single person who uses fcp anymore.
I used FCP last season and it was a total pain in the ass. Not only is it stupidly slow (I have 16 GB ram on my edited computer and it performed at the same speed when it was on my 4 GB computer) its incredible buggy. I lost count of the amount of times I was working and it randomly froze and "quit due to a error." With that all said, it is a easy program to learn and use, but its just total garbage! It also can't keep up with anything over a frame rate of 30. Im planing to switch to Premiere because the times I have worked with it, it has performed flawless.
