Alright Media and arts, I just got a 70D and fucking love it for photos, big step up from the ol T3i. I'm looking at a bit more gear, mainly flash/strobes and some triggers, and possibly cheap flash stands, and a slider for video.
as far as flashes go, should I go with a cheapo amazon studio lighting kit? or something more portable like speedlights and stands? or continuous lighting? (can studio strobes provide continuous lighting??) What sync speed should I be looking at?
I'd like to try and get a good reliable kit together for skiing, biking, yoga video and photography. I currently shoot nature/landscapes a bit of street and night shots, and last winter got some ski photos and video in.
I have never worked with any of this stuff so bear with me, I'm more so learning by trial and error. I don't really have any contacts that I could shadow and learn their ways either, so help me out M&A
