Replying to Powder/all mountain ski options.
So, I finally have brought myself to ask advice. I'm not 100% on where to start. I ski Breck, A basin and Winter park mostly. I get a couple days in at Vail per season. I'm 5'11 and 175lbs. I don't ski a lot of park, and I have a set of volkl walls that I've been using for just about everything anyways. I have a few days per season on a set of black diamond killowatts with fritschi freeride bindings, which is what I am replacing. I am looking for a ski to take powder days, as well as handing crud better than the walls. I want to start hitting larger cliffs (20+ feet) as well as becoming more of a big mountain style skier, spinning off smaller cliffs and natural features.
The skis I have been looking at are a set of 2013 Rossignol Super 7's or a pair of 2013 Line influence 115. Both would be new and are in the $350-$400 price range. The issue is the Lines are only in a 192 and the Super 7's are in a 195. Are these too long for me? My walls are 176 if I remember correctly.
Any ski would be mounted with a pair of dukes. Touring is not a huge concern as I won't be doing any long tours, or I'll just suck it up.
With all that in mind, tell me if I'm being an idiot, or recommend me a ski and help point this kid in the right direction. Thank you.
