Hey guys I am looking into community colleges in Colorado I was hoping some of you maybe had some knowledge about them that I couldnt get from there sites (Surrounding towns, how students feel ect.) A couple I was looking into are Steamboat Springs, it seems like they have a large town and skiing near by. Also looking at the Aspen CO mountain college, Red Rocks was another choice considering its closer to Boulder than the other but wasnt sure on how that town and skiing was. If you guys have any advice on where to go or helpful information thatd be great! Thanks!

One thing you may not realize is that community colleges are comprised primarily of commuter students. Residential life at a community college will not offer anywhere near what a traditional college can. It sounds like you are looking at location far more than academics (and, honestly, you may as well). A degree from one community college or another will not make any difference. On a resume they all look the same.

if you are looking in terms of being close to skiing, steamboat is good, or you could go to cmc breckenridge. arapahoe community college is a decent option it is right in denver though. red rocks commutnit college really isnt very close to boulder.

be ready to overpay for housing if you want to live outside of the dorms in Steamboat
All times are Eastern (-5)
