killington's glades

are there any glades open at killington or even enough snow to drop into some trees?

Some of them are decent, the ones with the most snow cover are towards the top of the mountain. I would check out 'lights' which is on the skiers right of escapade. There is a path on the side of the trail that leads into there.

Killington is fucking retarted they are distroying the charicter of the moutain by puting woods trails only know by locals on the trail map it may be good for the rest of you but in my opinion this is fucking rediculos and who ever is responsibel deservs to thrown in the streets and shot at by an angery mobb, ya im an angery kid

i agry..last year me n my boys found so many good trees and skied with some locals and now all of our powder stashed are going to be tracked up...it sucks..but Killingtons so huge i know ill find more

have u sceen a killington trail map latly they made the top 3 sickest local spots into trails there alot of her stuff but killington and allen willson are still a bunch of flaming homosexuals

yeah ive seen it..they probably added like 25 new glades 20 of which were local spots which no one else knew about unless they rode wiht locals

Woohoo hooray for Devil's Den, fuckin bullshit. I wouldn be surprised if they took out the 20 foot cliff that is in there too. Luckily there are still places to go to that no one will know about.

Ya Anarchy, Centerpiece, and OL woods were also realy good. But bears ass is complete bullshit. I can't wait till someone goes too far into that ravine and gets stuck down in Falls Brook. At least now I have some incentive to find somenew woods.

I'm actually pretty psyched about the park. At first I really didn't believe it but they have already done a good job so who knows. Seems like they finally are getting their shit together. The real joke will be that athlete lounge in the Bear lodge. Can't wait to see a bunch of 12 year olds fighting over the PS2 remote.

yeah 1080bio is right they are taking all the glades that were only known by locals and making them trails, for instance Going Down; which is off launch pad, it's too bad cuz there are a lot of good glades at killy that only the locals knew about. I actually did ski Miss. Ave. (I dunno if anyone knows where it is but it's like to the left of big dipper), and it was really scratchy but I was suprsied it was skiable

missisiipi ave is prity ill down to the waterfall at least they didnt take that there is still some woods to be had at killington that they didnt take but if i get the opertuniuty i will slap allen willson for this bullshit

killington will be pretty ill this year. sucks that they made a few secret stashes into glades, but i have a couple secret spots that are still unmarked. the new park will be dope, too.

Juggernut is actually 10 miles, and 2 years ago at like 2:30 in the afternoon I decided to take this trail from the top of the peak. The skiing had sucked that day but I still I do not have a clue why I made that choice, I guess I was curious to see what it was like. Well anyways it was alright for like 2 min cuz I didn't have to push at all, but then I started pushing and swear was pushing for like an hour in the absolute middle of no where. I dunno if anyones been on it,but when the sun goes down this trail gets kind of freaky when you're by yourself, anyways finally I see an escape route, a trail called solitude. I end up coming out by the south ride triple, basically all that time for a distance that I could've covered in about 2 min if I had just taken the normal trails. I recommend no one takes it unless you want to waste your day

Snowshed Crossover is nothing compared to Juggernaut. You can at least find ways to make Snowshed Crossover enjoyable.

haha armadafreerider u did abou 1/10 of jugarnaught and didnt even venture that far into the fuckin woods out there but dont listin to ad1080 most people who get lost at killington try and ski woods of jugarnaught but you should all ski it theres a secret rail park on the trail

I would sweat the glades being marked up. Most people that ski killy are lamerz who stick to groomers and ski only 1 run before going to the bar. I'm in a ski house with a bunch of people from NYC and Boston and most of them like to ski grooms. They all nut over their long carving skis..

Oh ya, the steepest bump run in the east. Explain that to me when it is groomed flat like 90% of the time, I wouldn't classify that as a bump run.

they only flatten OL when they have to...i.e. when there isn't enough snow. But on days when they get some new snow to fill in the troughs, its the best trail in the country..(well, maybe not)

Trust me, I spend a large portion of the winter on Outer Limits and it is mostly groomed except for the course on it. But when it is all skied up bumps it is so fun. Sometimes our coaches have us try to ski it top to bottom, that is so tiring.

im sorry buddy but im sure you stop at least 5 and its fuckin crazzy when they make us ski that shit to to botom with no stops to condition and espicialy when your coach makes you keep up with him becuase he ses that he has no knees but hes really a world cup mogul skier

yeah their fucking killing killington they should have left the tree's unmarked. I heard on the mountain a couple of days ago that they were going to try to make k into a resort like straton and build tons of condos
Hopefully I will be skiing the Big K in VT until January, and the other K in CA for the rest of the season.
