Salto boots, good?

Yeah, so I got the rossi salto boot, I know they arent made for freestyle skiing and stuff, but they where very comfy so I bought them anyway. Anywho, my question is will they perform good in the park? Im at like 50% park, 30% groomers and 20% trees. What do you think?

^ depends how you like your boots. The salto are a gumby boot, ie: super soft not much support etc ... so if you like super soft boots that probably dont provide you with a good a fit i'd say these are perfect for you

Truth be told, the Salto is only basically 1 step down from the 1080 (different company, but yea). They'd be ok

I personally have the salto, and they work perfectly fine for me and ski about the same breakdown as you. Sometimes i wish they were a tad bit stiffer, but they are pretty good boots all around.

I have a salto and they work wonderfully for me. But the one BIG downfall of the salto is the power strap. It is sewn into the liner, which causes major shin bang--as well as being uterly uselesss placed there.

To fix this prob you need to go by a BOOSTERSTRAP, you can either go to a shop or go to their website (google it or look it up in the forum), Once you get it the shop will bolt it to the shell of your boot--were it should be-- and it should only cost like 5 dollars for them to install it. Id also invest in a custom footbed for it to, cuz the salto comes with a generic limp footbed.

In summary the salto boot is an average boot, but it will be much much better if you invest some money into it. Good Luck.
