OG looking for some new sticks

I am 6'4" 200lbs without ski gear on. I already have OG ARGs, OG 191 Billgoats, and OG Chronic Blends. I am looking for a ski that is around 100-110 underfoot that can be an everyday driver for me in the PNW. I want something fairly light and playful as i already have the 191 BG for time when i want to aggressively charge. I am also hoping the ski is very turny to make the tight, steep trees very fun.

i want to be able to pop off of side booters and throw effortless shifties, rip a zipper line, and then slay 8" of some sopping wet pow in the trees.

Im not looking for this ski to charge at mach chicken over crud, avi debris and whatever else is out there; i already have the 191 BG for that. I want a ski that i can ski 90% of the time in the PNW. and i want it to be relatively playful and light, but still hold a mean ledge on the groomers, and be useful in bumps.



Any ideas folks? price is no hold up...


I was thinking 190 SFBs, or Allmountain batallas, maybe kartels? who can offer advice??

Sounds like the Praxis MVP 187 or 193 (Tip to tail length is a little shorter than listed). Lots and lots of good reviews, search or Teton Gravity for more info. Pretty much fits exactly what you described.

Praxis skis themselves are pretty much the highest quality skis I've ever owned, (ON3P is very close). Very, very good construction and Keith is a great guy. Can't wait for winter on my Praxis GPOs. If you need, PM me for a 15% off coupon code.

While I have not personally ridden batallas, I have ordered some. I can direct you to some people who have them if you want to know more. A few things I can tell you about it is that it is almost like a big mountain charger with a park ski feel. At least that's what a lot of people tell me. It has 20cm of rocker in the tip and 20cm or rocker in tail. Camber underfoot. And with the waistline of 108 it will be a awesome everyday ski. Super durable.

I'm happy with my 189s. And I'm 5'11, 200lbs.

The older ones definitely had problems, but they seem to have figured it out now that they moved production stateside.

Blizzard Cochise. Sorry, OG Blizzard Cochise. It's like a Katana you can get lazy on when you want to but still deals with variable snow, exactly what you're describing unless you really want a twintip. Not all that light but they ski light if you know what I mean. Definitely playful for someone of your weight.

I would look at the 189 Black Crows Atris or the 192 Solly Rocker2 108

Praxis BC is a sweet pnw ski, does well in wet and heavy, is light and playful but can still charge
