1 and a half minutes of sketchy misty's and backflips with shaky filming and bad lighting, along with a minute of unentertaining falls, and a song that was waaaaay too dramatic for that shit does not add up well. Keep at it, but you've got some work to do.

1. Hookit sponsors are not real sponsors, anyone can get "sponsored" on Hookit, saying your edit is "in association" with a Hookit sponsor is dumb.
2. Don't follow the bounce when you're filming someone on a tramp, take a wider shot and use a tripod.
3. Music choice, as above, is terribad
4. Was this filmed with a potato?
5. You need more framerate if you're going to slowmo like that.

I am going to give you some advice that the legendary Bruce Campbell once gave me. Make 10 edits, put everything into them, perfect them, make it the best thing you have ever created....and then throw them all away, never let anyone see them.

Now, when you come out with your first edit (actually your 11th) it will be something that people will want to watch, from someone with experience.

Don't actually throw them away, put them on a secret hidden flash drive that no one will see so that you can laugh at them in 10 years

Man speaks the truth I have many many edits from last year/beginning of this year that I like to watch and laugh at every once in a while just keep makin em to get better at editing

for an ~8th grade edit, its not the worst, but it has a long way to go. you should cut some of the clips shorter where the guy doing the trick lands off balance, it look a lot better. heed the advice of those who preceded me.

Actually t2i. I'm not too sure how it turned out so bad when it looked clean as hell on the camera itself

Check what format you shot in, and what your sequence/export settings were

Turn off autofocus for a start, with this sort of filming. Half the time the subject is moving through the AF points and the camera is furiously refocussing between the background and the person you're trying to film.

Yeah, the 70d and later rebels are the only ones that do AF in video

Forcilloshaky filming and bad lighting


Ok, lighting was terrible. But I use a glidecam XR2000. I did the 3 second drop thing and it was perfect. So idk why it is shaky

just because your drop time is perfect doesn't mean your footage can't be shaky due to handling error/wind... it looks like you're touching the top plate while filming too so theres that

I don't wanna say this and I Am sure your not going to want to hear it but you asked for honest opinion. I think it is more helpful to give honest advice than say it was great mindlessly. This was pretty terrible. Th beginning music transition was pretty cool. I liked the music but whats up with where you completely cut out the music at the end of the video? The trampolining was about as bad as it gets for trampoline edits. Thats what really made the edit look stupid and over eddited. The best shot was maybe the last backflip which is not that amazing. This would be okay if the edit was fun and music was fun. The shots were not very well trimmed and the transitions were sloppy. Also was not a fan of the text. 3/10
