Awwwwwight, so this morning i had my annual 6 month dental cleaning. Usually i don't mind the dentist b/z its not as painful as the ortho. So i was like ahh crap ok so i go in and i usually have the same lady that cleans my teeth, but this time it was different one. So i was skeptical...well not really but whatev. So she starts in with this hook tool thingy that they all use to clean away all the stuff the toothbrush can't reach ya know. So i knew that was comin well...for a while it was fine until she didn't stop, and she kept going and going and going with the hook and each time she would move onto a new tooth she would dig harder and harder and harder. So i'm sitting there with my gums gushing blood and my eyes watering and shes all happy and such singing and humming shit like its no big deal my mouth has become a pool of blood. So that was pretty shitty but then i find out that she isn't going to floss my teeth like they always do, and i have braces so its hard to floss so instead of flossing she went back to that fucking hook! She literally tried to put the hook inbetween each one of my teeth like she was flossing it and lets just say she did, and it once again caused a fuck load of pain and a shit load of blood. can u believe that? she tried to floss my teeth with a fucking hook! has anyone ever had this experience before? it was the worst dentist visit i have ever had and by far the most painful. Its been like 4 hours and still, my teeth are aching. I just thought i'd share but i was appauled that she friggen hooked my face to a bloody mess.

thats no good. you shoulda complained. I get to go tomorrow... and im not really looking forwards to it because they get to decide wheater or not to remove my wisdom teeth. I dont think they will, but i really dont want them to.

that happened to me, but more directly.

This lady was cleaning my teeth with the same tool, and then she started poking and raking my gums, and i screamed, spat out blood, and was like what the hell are u doing? and she was like, im checking ur gums, i think there weak. But she was digging a hole in my gums with a sharp dentist tool.I got so mad, i started screaming at her.

yeah that is the only reason i even bother flossing. so when i go to the dentist my gums don't turn into bloody pulp.

i dont understand why people brush their teeth. thats the dentists job, to clean your teeth. make them earn their pay. would you shave your head then go to a barber?

I went to the dentist yesterday and had a similar experience. The second I sit down, she whips out the friggen hook, lowers the chair and has a field day on my mouth. to make it worse, I didn't have the chance to brush/floss before I went. anyway, I'm sitting there, with that god forsanken bright light in my eyes, when she starts hacking at this one tooth, it's the front left tooth. so she's going and going and after a while, I feel like my tooth is going to fall out. she finally decideds to tell me what she's doing, and she says 'did you have braces?' ...ya 3 or 4 years ago...'oh really? there's some cement on your tooth, which could discolor and look ugly.' THANK YOU GENIOUS! Why couldn't you have taken it off 3 years ago? when she was done with that 5 minute battle on one tooth, she proceedes to go inbetween each tooth with the hook. My gums started to bleed in 3 different places. I had to hold napkins in my mouth while she did her stupid paperwork. it hurt for a good hour afterward and my gums bleed when I brush =(

oh ya she did tha to. the spilled the cement on the inside of my back tooth and she was reefin on those suckers for like 5 minutes and she's like oh just a little cement problem back here i was like ahhhhh god please make it end

i know what you mean i had one of those fuckin idiots before too... she said that i dont brush my gums enough and thats why they were bleeding so i said you dont think its because of that pointy thing you keep poking them with so she said definately not and kept going
