Anyone else follow it? It's a pretty intense sail boat race around the world and it starts October 4 in Spain. On average they are hitting 22.5 knots (42km/h) in a 65ft sail boat in the middle of the ocean which is pretty ridiculous.
I've never sailed before (joys of growing up on the prairies) and really don't know anything about it, but my dad spent about a year and a half on a sailboat in the south pacific (New Zealand, Fiji, etc) when he was 19/20 and as a result, I've always had an interest in it.
