Hornbeck Appreciation Thread

So I just recently watched the Hornbeck and Ahmet at Hood edit, and it brought to mind one question:

"Just how long has Mike Hornbeck been killing it?"

Well, I'll tell you. The first time he's mentioned on Newschoolers is 2003... That's 11 years and counting (although my guess is that he started shortly after birth). So Mr. Hornbeck, my congratulations go out to you for your numerous contributions to, and tireless work in the ever expanding field of steeze over the past decade plus.

Please never stop shredding.

But really, a decade plus of park/urban/overall steeziness? What the fuck are your knees made of? And where can I get some of it for mine?

Feel free to discuss, agree, or nothing at all. I just thought it had to be said.

I agree with this. I loved his segment in After Dark and Eye Trip but it seems recently without the poles he hasn't been looking as good.

He just does weird things with his hands.... and waaaay over exaggerates the arm swing when landing. But u still fuckin love his skiing what he does

My first introduction to Hornbeck has been in Refresh, I just loved his impeccable style and how he always had his jacket opened haha. He's constantely put out banger segments over the years, his best one being his opener in Sunny, IMO.

his turbo segment used to get me so stoked, had him as a coach at windells and he was a super chill guy and really good at teaching, the guy taught me rodeos and i will be forever grateful for his influence.
