Newschoolers,
Since starting this company "J", I've been constantly asked by dudes like you, "When's the powder ski coming?" So now's the time, if enough of you support it's creation on Kickstarter, your new best Friend will be here by Christmas!

sounds more like an all mountain ski than a powder ski. 122 is my magic number, but I'm also a pretty big guy.


Anyways, hope you get funded and then maybe next year you will have more resources to create a true powder slayer (fully systemic, lots of reverse camber, very stiff and fat!).

They only thing holding me back from getting a pair of j skis. I'm a big dude as well and softer skis just don't cut it for my build.

won't ski like a bacon - more directional, lighter, softer more buttery tips with the carving ability of a Prophet

j lev can you take video of you flexing it ? the skis, not your muscles ? stiffer than sick day because of maple core ?

Hand flexing the ski won't provide an accurate picture of the flex of the ski. Stuff like the profile (how much rocker and camber the ski has) of the ski and what core the ski is using effects what the skis flex feels like.

i can assure you hand flexing the EP pro or hellbent vs mothership will give you a great idea of how each one will ski.

Hand flex is only about 30% of the story of a core though, it gives nothing away about how a core deals with vibrations and his damp a core is at absorbing energy. It also offers no real indication of lateral stiffness. Other factors like your boot and binding choice will affect how you use a core too.
