NSwidowI've worked five years for perisher as an instructor. Liked it the first few years but then got real sick of it. I too recommend buying the freedom pass now for $700 (you only have to pay $200 now, balance next June) and then working another job. Nights or something and have more time to ride. Perisher as a company are pretty shitty to work for to be honest. The park is so on point though. Got it all over Thredbo. The park crew are amazing and Charles Beckinsale is a genius. Either way, live in Jindabyne, not up the hill. So much fun here I can't stop coming back! good luck man.
JibbaTheHuttbump for anyone with more info on this, been potentially looking at applying for next summer.
My issue is that everywhere only seems to conduct interviews in australia and there doesn't seem to be anything about telephone/skype interviews. I'm working the winter season in austria until end of april so can't really make a casual trip out to australia for an interview
SWIIZBoYI did write a e-mail to perisher about the interview and they wrote back it wouldn't be a problem to do the interview over skype or something.
