What brings you guys into a pub

I've been tasked with coming up with ideas to bring people into our pub. What are some things that would bring you guys into a pub/ bar. things like trivia or drink specials or rock paper scissors tournaments. You guys have any ideas?

Definitely drink specials. And try to make them on different days and unique from other nearby bars.

And a cool atmosphere

Cheaper drinks is a given. But if you are going for a true style pub, atmosphere is huge for me. Please, I enjoy music, but for the love of god don't blast it. Darts, pool, jukebox, are great ways for people to interact and socialize which is what a pub should be designed for.

If you want other things to liven up the weekdays I'd say trivia, karaoke (take it or leave it but it does work depending on the bars), beer pong, ping pong or come up with something unusual that only your bar offers like indoor croque or bocci or some shit like that where its fun when you're drunk.

not my pub but I'm working on some of the marketing for it and I've been tasked with coming up with daily draws.

Little more about the place. It's a brew pub which in MN means it's half restaurant half bar with only beer brewed on site. House beers vary from 8-12 taps. The beer is good but pricey. management seems to think $4.50 for a pint of beer is a hell of a deal.

We're located in Duluth, MN which is a huge tourist destination in the summer but totally dies down every other season. We are also located in the heart of the touristy area so naturally this causes a problem with the locals. Locals avoid it most of the season.

Duluth does have around 20,000 college students that are in town the opposite of tourist season.

Wing specials and special events. The bar around me is having a half way to St Pat's party which should get the place packed. Maybe a half-way to halloween type party would be fun at the end of april.. Random stuff like that

HolySchimmelnahh, there's a point when it gets so annoying to always go outside. If I go to a pub, I wanna chill, drink my beer and smoke while doing so.


I'm still waiting for a bar in vancouver where you can drink and smoke weed at the same time. i mean we already vapour lounges and places you can smoke inside, and we have bars, so why not combine the two?

Depending on the alcohol content, $4.50 isnt bad. I sure as hell wouldn't pay that for a magic hat or something along those lines but a quality brew, fuck yeah.

my bad. a normal pint is pushing $6 and the thirtsy thursday deal is a pint costs $4.50

It's different in town than it is in the sticks. In town you just have to have cheap drink or lots of ladies, whereas rural pubs are only successful if they're food game is A*****

the ony thing that will keep me coming back to a pub is good beer prices and decent people. stuff like pool and foosball and the occasional live band are a bonus but not needed. things like trivia, food or ladies nights are retarded - im there for beer and bantz thats it
