FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
TOM WALLISCH SIGNS WITH BOONE SKIS
SAN FRANSISCO, CA - Boone skis has officially announced today that they have signed professional skier Tom Wallisch to a multi-year partnership. Wallisch and Boone have agreed to a four-year contract, ensuring the Pittsburg, Pennsylvania native through the 2018 Pyeongchang Olympics. In addition, Tom has helped to design a new pro-model ski, the "Bow-Flex," which will debut at this year's SnowSports Industry America (SIA) tradeshow in Denver, CO. This marks Boone's re-emergence into freeskiing after briefly stepping away earlier this year.
"We couldn't be more stoked to work with an athlete of Tom's caliber," says Boone skis team manager Kenneth Powers, "I have always admired his influence within the ski industry, everything he touches seems to turn to gold. I'm sure that the Bow-Flex will be no different."
Tom's signature ski, the Bow-Flex, will feature graphics designed by legendary tattoo artist Don Ed Hardy.
Wallisch noted, "I feel blessed to collaborate with a company as forward thinking and style driven as Boone. For once I am proud to put my name on a ski that I completely stand behind in construction, performance, and design. When I approached Boon about working with hardy, I was taken aback by how supportive and proactive the entire team was with making it happen."
