.LincolnHa no it's not okay. How much did you spend on skis? I like my skis to last years haha.
CONAIR_BUSCEMIAlmost 1000.

MartianManNope, ur unlucky because you fell for Line's advertising. If you ski as hard as it seems like you do, invest in a pair of top shelf park skis, something with 2.5 mm edges, sidewallls, and core with things like maple, poplar, beech, fir, inside instead of that bs skate deck construction. If a ski costs $350, it will hold up like it.
jamiel217Dude in all seriousness get K2 Recoils. Literally bomb proof skis. If you have the money for ON3P then go with those but Recoils are ridiculous

Profahoben_212Got my Domains for 250, and they are still holding together 2 seasons later. They are great for the price.
OP it sounds like you want a softer ski, and I would 100% recommend domains. You can find them cheap, and while they may not be the most durable ever, they are pretty high up there.
tomPietrowskitwo point I would raise. Firstly stop buying cheaper skis. You clearly need to be ridding somthing more durable. But secondaly I would put some of it your in skiing. You had 2 delams in a year. Either you got two bad ski which is unluckily or you are doing somthing. Delam often occur from catching the skis together Or slamming into things. Also a delam can usually be fixed if caught straight away so maybe inspect your skis more often and maintain them better.
CONAIR_BUSCEMII purchased the Punx. Although, the 13/14 Punx are completely redesigned and I believe they are stiffer then years before.
Would they be softer than the recoils??
PoikenzI find that delams can also happen from over flexing the tips, but the two you suggested are a lot more common. Also smashing the sides of your tips on rails, or on tap features seems to work nicely.

first_rodeothe salomon threat which literally fell apart.
then my surface skis: they snapped after a few weeks
snowballsdeepyour problem is you bought shit skis, every company you named is such shit. if you ride hard you gatt a get skis that can hold up
tomPietrowskiK2 and line both make good skis it's more just that the op got price point skis rather then spending more on a decent ski. Every bran has cheaper skis and Better skis. You need to spend an appropriate amount to get a ski to match your level.
snowballsdeepi disagree , k2 nor line makes a single good ski. but thats my opinion
