I just bought the atomic infamous and punx both 2014 models. Heard the punx are bombproof but the infamous not so much, being a price point ski and all. Really want to keep them in good shape so is there a way to protect the infamous from delaming in the tip and tails? Seen some threads where some only last a few days riding before delam issues occur. Also the pair if infamous I got already has 3 rivets in both tips and tails.

Delaminates usually happen from hitting stuff with your sides of skis. I guess do less of that.

I ride Volkl Walls and have always had delam issues in the tips from taps and other shenanigans. Every pair i have had, I was able to catch early and put some marine epoxy on them and clamped those bitches. That usually holds them for the rest of the life of the ski. It has to be marine epoxy though. Regular epoxy wont hold more than a day.
