Multiple people will be making close to Wallisch level money on with those companies(Pettit?). which means that anybody skiing or snowboarding for those companies could be making bank. Wallisch level bank.
Also, traveling circus are going to australia, where Wallisch is apparently skiing on chronics.
Don't rule out line because parry delivers pizza in the summer.

Just because one company owns a few brands doesn't mean they all have the same budget. Example Kering company owns Gucci but also volcom, do you think people sponsored by Volcom would get the same paycheck as a model modelling for Gucci?

True, but at the same time, as far as park skis go, Line is one of the biggest, and gathers a large part of its market from people who may be easily swayed by Wallisch riding for them. Logic may be flawed, but I would NOT be suprised if he ended up on Line. They likely have the ability to afford him, especially if they think he will sell enough skis to make it worth it.

haha let me assure you i did not base that post on anything like that....no offense at all to andy parry, he's rad but he's not even in the same league as wallisch. i based what i said off the fact that ever since the pivogy binding debacle, line hasn't really taken care of any huge pros in a big way besides pollard (who was, i think, the only pro to not be dropped at the time), everything else has been mostly "grass roots" stuff and smaller names that don't demand paychecks like wallisch can and should
but someone reminded me after that post that his paycheck could come from the parent company, which is very true and means that line is definitely a possibility ==> i could have my foot in my mouth soon

True to an extent in my opinion, other than Pollard, there arent a lot of people on Line's team on any heavy payroll, this is an old chart which I stole from a seperate thread, so I would assume they may be selling even more skis but perhaps less
If line is selling this large a number of units, with other companies i mentally think of as larger, such as Dynastar or Elan. Than I would not be surprised if they have a good amount of scrilla lying around for a Wallisch, who sadly, is likely worth less than pre Olympics Wallisch.

There have been two persons who has (probably) seen Tom riding on a pair of Line skis. And if his not just trying them out I would say that his new sponsor is confirmed.

I think you are missing the point. Line is owned by K2, and both K2 and Volkl are owned by Jarden. What I am saying, is that when we talk about all other sponsorship, we don't ever really talk about the parent company completely financing it. We don't talk about Amer Sports sponsoring Bobby Brown and Krief. Look at where Salomon is on that chart, we never questioned their ability to afford someone, because we see them as large. The reason we are questioning Line, is because people don't believe they are big enough. Line does well and is already decently sized, so parent companies would easily say lets invest here.
Line couldn't possibly afford Wallisch about a year ago, no way, and the parent companies wouldn't have shelled out the money for him. Although I personally am super stoked to see where Wallisch goes and the crazy shit I know he will be making film wise, you have to be lying to yourself to say his cost hasnt dropped at least a bit post Olympics.

15000(units)*$300(per unit)=$4.5M income
Not sure what the raw costs and overhead is
But they do have income.

It wasn't just a thread, it was a press release with a very convincing photoshop of Tom holding their skis.
FredyFerlTom doesn't fit the image of Line at all, and I'm pretty sure the majority of their team budget goes towards the Traveling Circus, they don't really have any money for Tom.

But probably a surprisingly large amount of people especially after the Olympics will. for example the Scott Jib and the Jib TW, from my limited research they are the same ski yet one sells for significantly more, also its not often you see or here about the jib on here but the TW jib seems to be way more common. it just proves that there are also a lot of guys on here will buy something cos its "cool" and won't do the research.
and if anyone downloaded that kid who reviewed his TW pro boots and sounded like a complete fuck video, could you upload it again he's put it on private and that is really just stuff of legend
