JSONI would be extremely happy if he did a Lebron like "The Decision" special on NS.
P-BOOThey kinda look like future spins from the shape too me
snomasterJust because he's rocking Lines with blank top sheets doesn't necessarily mean he'll be skiing for them this season. It's kinda like a free agent bb player going out to dinner with a team owner and working out in their gym. It don't mean shit until the Benjamin's hit the bank.
RubberSoulsorry to be this guy but you people guessing line are out to lunch. dude's one of the best park skiers ever and has huge sponsors, he's not gonna go to line and get paid in food stamps and arcade tokens
unless they treat him like they do pollard.....which they won't
ben.hume.92If he is skiing for line, i can assure you that he will still be making bank. line are owned by K2 sports, who also own K2 skis, K2 snowboards, Ride snowboards, Back country access...the list goes on. but most importantly full tilt boots. make the connections people! Multiple people will be making close to Wallisch level money on with those companies(Pettit?). which means that anybody skiing or snowboarding for those companies could be making bank. Wallisch level bank.
Also, traveling circus are going to australia, where Wallisch is apparently skiing on chronics.
Don't rule out line because parry delivers pizza in the summer.
ChubbyBoydo you think people sponsored by Volcom would get the same paycheck as a model modelling for Gucci?
ndyeTrue, but at the same time, as far as park skis go, Line is one of the biggest, and gathers a large part of its market from people who may be easily swayed by Wallisch riding for them. Logic may be flawed, but I would NOT be suprised if he ended up on Line. They likely have the ability to afford him, especially if they think he will sell enough skis to make it worth it.

pussyfooterIf line skis sponsored tom wallisch, the parent company would be supplying the financing. He would basically be sponsored by K2 Sports/Jarden Corp but they would put him on one of their products, in this scenario line skis. Line skis as a company alone could not afford to pay tom what he wants/deserves, just saying.
ShoelacesTom's going back to his roots. Amplid confirmed

SteakheadJarden also owns Volkl...
The plot thickens...
haha I still hope Line..
ndyeTrue to an extent in my opinion, other than Pollard, there arent a lot of people on Line's team on any heavy payroll, this is an old chart which I stole from a seperate thread, so I would assume they may be selling even more skis but perhaps less
If line is selling this large a number of units, with other companies i mentally think of as larger, such as Dynastar or Elan. Than I would not be surprised if they have a good amount of scrilla lying around for a Wallisch, who sadly, is likely worth less than pre Olympics Wallisch.
You are likely right and it would be challenging for them to afford Wallisch, but I would not be suprised if they have a bit more scrilla kicking around than we think.
Also note: Im not convinced that he is going to Line, but I think it is a possibility
Dr._Alan_GrantI think you are missing the point. Line is owned by K2, and both K2 and Volkl are owned by Jarden. This means that the fact that Line by itself would not have the "scrilla" to afford Wallisch doesn't matter because the parent company pays for everything. Jarden would most likely be all for using the funds obtained from their 40% market share on Wallisch to grow the line brand in a way few skiers can.

DUKESGoing back to his roots would be 4FRNT
K-ThomasGoing back to his roots would be Rossignol.

ChubbyBoyBetter be, I don't want my new skis not to be endorsed by Wallisch.
.Hugo.Lolololol you actually bought boone skis because you thought tom was going there? Holy shit
.Hugo.Lolololol you actually bought boone skis because you thought tom was going there? Holy shit
ChubbyBoyMy comment was purely satirical. Boone's gone out of business. Holy shit/10
.Hugo.I dont follow boone skis, hell I havent even heard their name in a few years. I guess I just figured they must still be in business if so many idiots could believe the boone wallisch thread
ChubbyBoyIt wasn't just a thread, it was a press release with a very convincing photoshop of Tom holding their skis.
pussyfooterlol convincing? You're a fucking idiot if you thought that whole thing was at all convincing.

ChubbyBoyDon't lie Heath. You thought it was real at first. Anyone who says they knew it was a hoax prior to it coming out it plain lying.
*TACO-DOG*i wonder how tom feels about the all multi page threads about him that are on here.
FredyFerlTom doesn't fit the image of Line at all, and I'm pretty sure the majority of their team budget goes towards the Traveling Circus, they don't really have any money for Tom.
jonah.callisterHe's most likely to go to NASA
Iraq_LobsterIf we are just talking who can pay him the most, then it would probably have to be a really big corporation and not a brand like faction or APO, maybe not even atomic. It would be somethin like K2 or Rossignol
