TWallischI'm stoked to finally let you all know that I've signed with Line Skis. Congrats to whoever guessed that! Haha
My first pair of twins were Lines and I loved the skis and the company. What makes Line so special to me is how true the company is to our sport. They are solely focused on our sport of freeskiing and providing the best possible product for all of you and me as well! They don't build skis for racers or tourists, they build skis specifically for park, pipe, pow, and freeride. Its amazing to be partnering with a company that has supported our sport for so long and in so many ways.
I'm looking forward to collaborating with everyone at Line, just like I have for the past 6 years with Full Tilt, and building some amazing products together. I have been riding and testing the skis for the last few months and couldn't be more excited to finally share the news of this new partnership with all of you out there on NS!
Look out for more info on all this soon but thought you guys would wanna know first!
Thanks for all the support everyone! Winter is coming and it's gonna be a good one! Let's get it

stupendous-manLine. Claiming it
L.B.SNOWwhy do i have a sudden urge to buy a pair of line chronics
Peter.anyone else think this is kinda weird?
tom doesn't fit in with the rest of the line team at all
like it's sweet that he is on line skis now, but it just seems strange to me
jpastorwhats with the olympic symbol on his phone.
ALSO THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME
undisputedwell i think many sponsors look at Wallnuts as an "aging asset" or "damaged-goods", i guess after he got cut from the olympic team his value kinda dropped because sponsors were not able to market him as an "olympian"
honestly, line was probably the only large scale ski company that were willing to sign him on
i really do not think wallnuts fits well with the line team, its kinda similar to when chompton left line for nordica. chompton seemed like he didnt fit well with nordica either.
Peter.compton fit in much better with nordica than wallisch does with line. nordica was a mainly east coast team with park/urban riders. compton fits that to a T, and his friend was the team manager so that helped.
wallisch competed at an insanely high level with a torn ACL last year, and i can only imagine that he will be even better with a repaired one. i don't really think he is damaged goods at all.

Mr.BishopI actually couldn't disagree more.
Sure in the lead-up to the Olympics Tom was a competition maniac, winning absolutely everything in sight and really getting branded as a competition skier.
However most of the time before that he was way more on the filming side. That was the Tom I always knew and loved... and I'm wondering if this is going to be a bit of a return to that.
So I'd imagine that what we start to see coming out of Tom will be a way better fit for line than you might thing.

SteakheadHow has no one mentioned the possibility of Line seeing how well he has done for Full Tilt..
OHIOPro model ski coming??

Peter.it still doesn't seem to fit the line style. tom has an insanely clean and controlled style, contrary to most of the skiers on line's team, who do absurd things on skis and couldn't care less about k-feds. wesson has a clean style too, but he still does goofy things (pole bounces, etc) that i could never see wallisch doing.
