tom doesn't fit in with the rest of the line team at all
like it's sweet that he is on line skis now, but it just seems strange to me
well i think many sponsors look at Wallnuts as an "aging asset" or "damaged-goods", i guess after he got cut from the olympic team his value kinda dropped because sponsors were not able to market him as an "olympian"
honestly, line was probably the only large scale ski company that were willing to sign him on
i really do not think wallnuts fits well with the line team, its kinda similar to when chompton left line for nordica. chompton seemed like he didnt fit well with nordica either.

This is so spot on and its not like Tom isn't friends with other Line riders, lets not forget Tom in episode 1.4 of TC.
First off, lol at all the non-donators. Second off thoigh, I think it will be good for Tom. When I look at LJ for example; someone on line who throws down really big, I see him having a ton of fun. I really think line could do that as toms sponsor. Bring a lot of the fun back into his skiing

i would have to agree. It's weird because i feel like most pro's on line have their own kind of unique style. Throughout the years I've seen Line as the company that puts people on their team for the exact uniqueness that they all have. They are all really good and really different. It feels off to me because i don't see Tom as one of those really unique skiers like Parry or Hill or Drexler, i just see tom as a steezy ass pro who slays everything in sight and i think he'd have a better fit on another compant. Idk, just my opinion.

I work with LINE and couldn't be more happy with this announcement. Tom's personality, skill and overall stoke on skiing is a great compliment to LINE.

i can definitely see him attending less and less comps as the years go on, but even if he is focused on his filming, it still doesn't seem to fit the line style. tom has an insanely clean and controlled style, contrary to most of the skiers on line's team, who do absurd things on skis and couldn't care less about k-feds. wesson has a clean style too, but he still does goofy things (pole bounces, etc) that i could never see wallisch doing.
like if line released a team video it would be weird to jump from segments of parry, max hill, etc then into wallisch's segment

I couldnt have explained it in a easier way. Line's team has always had a unique style and it fits well into the funny and laidback part of skiing. Wallisch comes off too technical and smooth for me to compare to everybodys else's nosebonks/blocks, presses/butters, and wizardy trix. I could end up being wrong and maybe there is some creativity we will see from Tom.
But as for now Tom is Lines knight in shining armor at comps this season.

Why is everyone complaining about how Wallisch wont fit in. He's a crazy bastard on skis. The line crew are also crazy bastards on skis. Let's not forget that the TC crew are the only riders that line has. They also have a stacked up BC crew as well. Wallisch will fit in great and it will be cool to see a line rider in the X Games this year. If Tom wants to act all goofy on skis than he can pull it off. Tom is a great fit for the team, and will definitely kill it this year.
