blondie.Your town isn't known for that, that's Turkish food. Go to Europe, it's better there. And probably even better in Turkey, who knows?
What hometown is your food known for?

criminILLISTPermantis Cheesesteak
PASKIINGSUCKSOk my last post was a bit harsh but cheesesteaks from Pittsburgh? I mean come on now.
Some local delicacies more from my area north and west of Philthadelphia would include mostly PA Dutch cuisine.
Scrapple and apple butter
Funny cake or Shoo Fly Pie or Ap cakes
and of course Fasnacht donuts

PASKIINGSUCKSWhile I applaud your humor, believe it or not PA isn't even in the top ten fattest states. I mean we at least we aren't one of those southern states that deep fries everything and anything. Most of PA is pretty damn healthy, lots of local produce and farms. Huge hunting community, talk to anyone from PA and I'd bet at least a quarter of em were raised on lean venison.
Even those pies I posted aren't really all that sweet, and mostly molasses based.
urbanjibChik Fil A came from here, which is always rad.
PASKIINGSUCKSThe fuck is wrong with you??
I'm outside philly so it's not my hometown, but I'm close enough to have had more than enough CHEESESTEAKS in my life.
That's what they look like.
That junk you posted is from some place out it Shitsburgh. Granted I've always wanted to try a Primanti Bros sandwich of any kind, but they are in no way known for a fuckin cheesesteak man. Come on over to the better half of the state and try a Pats or Genos or any other deli within an hour surrounding Philly if you want a real cheesesteak. Not some crap with coleslaw and fries on it. Hey I'm not totally against it, like I said it would probably be the first place I visit if I ever go that far west again in PA but to say pittsburgh is known for cheesesteaks is laughable.

ANDR01DBoth of these photos are from the barbill in East Aurora, NY, a suburb of Buffalo. If you are ever anywhere near there, I highly recommend going.
