Replying to All Mtn skis no good in park??

So I was a snowboarder for about 5 years and this year I switched to skiing (in Aus) and have been loving it. I got myself a pair of Armada ARVti 178cm skis and obviously they are a great ski but could a dedicated park ski help me in the park?

I've been getting into park a bit this season but am struggling to get much flex out of the ARVti's and also much rotation.....
Now I am not saying that if I got on a full camber park ski I would immediately throw down but am I partially setting myself up for failure by starting with an all mountain ski or am I just being a bitch and should try harder?
