Bum.LifeHey guys, I was just wondering if anyone knows of any companies that could convert any regular alpine ski boot to be compatible with tech bindings.
For example, if I wanted to make my full tilts work with dynafit bindings, would it be possible?
One of the things you should think about is the lack of cuff mobility on a Full Tilt. Sure the guys could put tech inserts in your toe for the tour up, but you wouldn't really get much movement from your boot because the cuff cannot move. It really doesn't make much sense honestly.
Having a Dynafit-style binding means you want the best in mobility and efficiency for the touring portion of AT. If your boot doesn't match the capability of the binding well, then you really won't be able to get the most out of the set-up.
