Making grass skis

Has anyone done this? Do they have to have tank style wheels? I think it would be sick to somehow make them have rail grinding capabilities.

Yes. This has been done before. It was particularly popular back in the 70's and 80's.

i mean i feel like it would be cool for a little, but theres not tons you can do on grass skis. if you really wanna ski just make a pvc setup
