Idk why but Say Something - Great Big World ft. Christina Aguilera makes me lose my shit.

I think music is too often thought of as just background noise. Songs always get to me when I listen close.

Fyi Merry Clayton (the singer), who was heavily pregnant at the time of that recording, had a miscarriage shortly after leaving the studios supposedly because of the immense stress she had put her body under singing those few lines

I had a brother die in a car wreck. I can't even see those fucking SPCA dog commercials or hear any part of that song without getting all fuckin lame and weepy eyed like some kid who just lost his first dog.
