So I got the 2015 Bent Chetlers and I'm looking for bindings for them. I'm using these skis for powder, groomers, hardpack, no park. The binding needs to be durable and fit the 120mm waist.
Also where should I mount them? The factory recommended is at center
I'm 6'1, 150lbs.

mount them recommended. get a binding suitable to your weight and ability, what din are you after? there are plenty of durable bindings that have brakes for 120mm waists. wats your budget

Well for reference at least, I'm 5'7" 140 lbs and have 2013 Chets mounted at factory recommended with some FFG 16's. I had issues with the FFG 14's releasing all the time on a previous pair and then they actually broke. Personally I really like the driver tow, so I'd recommend the STH2 16 or 13. I've had a bad experience with the FKS tow piece releasing while doing a shifty so I'm not a huge fan of them. Also, if you put III for skier ability the shop will set your DIN to about 8.
More specifics about what/where/how you ski would really help. I don't know if you are smanging the gnar or going for chill pow laps in the trees. Shit you might be pizzaing the pow haha.
