Help me out...revision or on3p

you're not going to get much of a review on revision since they are brand new but $200 is so cheap its worth the risk. check out the revision thread and see what people are saying, its some where in gear talk maybe a page or two back

I don't get everyone saying they are only 200 so it's worth the risk. Personally i would hate to spend 200 on a ski which turns out to be awful. This is partly the reason I always suggest demoing. It's one thing reading reviews and so on but unless you have personally skied the ski or are talking to a salesman who has skied a big range of skis it is really hard to get an idea of what you are getting. This is the issue with ns. Not enough people have skied a wide range of skis so it's really hard to get good advice. So if you want my advice I would wait and demo some skis and see what you really like.

The reason people consider cheaper skis worth the risk, and qhy most people don't demo is because they ski park. Granted some skis feel better than others to different people, but as long as you have the right flex rocker and width for your liking it doesn't really matter. When you're hiking rails price and durability are what people are concerned about.
When we talk about pow and all mtn skis we find performance is more important.

But there are still so many differnt park skis that all ski so differently. Durum the buyer tests I generally spend one day just testing park skis an can assure you there is so much variation between skis. Just because you hike a rail all day does not mean you don't need an appropriate ski for te job.
