Flat vs. Rodeo

I think i know the difference but I could be wrong rodeo more backflip and flat spin is like a Lincoln mixed with a spin if I'm wrong or people have a more clear explanation between the two please help

the only difference is that a rodeo is inverted an a flat isnt

If I drop my shoulder down pretty far and backflip and grab like safety would that brig a rodeo around?

grabbing japan would be better, and it would as long as you don't think of it as a backflip
