Daily driver help

Alright NS, i saved up over summer and i'm lookin at a new daily driver for this winter. i'm 6'2" 185 lbs and i'd say i charge pretty hard, i don't enjoy skiing a noodle.

i'm pretty much looking at everything. i am considering the 186 cm kartel 106, 185 cm jj, and the 189 cm shreditor 112. i ski 75% all/big mountain 25% park.

leaning towards the new jj. help me out NS

Non of those skis are stiff really. Have you demoed many skis? Were those ones you enjoyed skiing or have you just picked them out?

I would not choose any of those for a charger ski. They are all quite soft

i don't really have a chance to demo in california. i sorta just picked those out. i do charge, but then again i also enjoy butters and stuff

As someone who is also 6'2" and 185lbs and has owned 185cm JJ's; they are not what you're looking for unless you want an unpredictable and unstable noodle.

Were they fun skis? Absolutely! In the right conditions that is, untracked pow and nothing else.

Anything hard packed or tracked out and they were not up to the task of staying stable with my size.

My personal suggestion is to look elsewhere. My daily drivers are 12/13 186 Jeffrey's (which are closer to the dimensions of the JJ's than of the Kartels.) We're all different and have different expectations and requirements from our gear, but since we are the same height/weight I figured I'd chime in.
