Anyway whether the skiiers like to film or not, more contests should be made cuz these edits are sick! I wish these edits were pumped out once a month! Just sick!

The riders can learn from their fans as can the people who edit them. I mean you are the people this content is created for. It's almost democratic. Instead of saying, "yes I like that" or "No that guy sucked" you should say "I would have liked it better if...." .

Dropbombs8nope not the first, triple backy by delorome last season. I thinks maybe another but danes was so dope giving number one to sammy for those dubs. 2nd to dane and 3rd to sam. Hard to chose since all were all so good and very different.

SkaliwagifyI am a little biased because I love Sammy's style, but I have never heard of Mr. Favret until now. I think that in a video this short much of it comes down to music and editing. I don't really think chill edits work here. There were sick tricks in Tim and Wiley's videos, but the vibe wasn't right. If a landing is not that great, cut the shot early. If a trick is not a) unique (Sammy's pillow gaps/Tim's tree flip), b) gnarly (Sam Favret's massive cork threes), or c) practically perfect (Some of Sammy and Schuster's dubs) it should not make the edit. If you include a cork seven blunt it better be special. I don't think super slow motion (120fps+) helps in this contest, it shows imperfections and slows down the pace (I think that some of the TGR athletes did not have a choice here as this is probably how some of these shots will fit in this year's film (a higher priority)). I really think that some of the B roll shots can be better in a video than another trick added to the bunch, I really don't think there were that many tricks/lines in Sam Favret's video compared to the others.
YMMV, This is easily my favorite skiing contest to date.

I think Dane takes the cake. Deep pow high vibe, tricks galore, gnarly line, and a triple to top it off. Pretty much showed every aspect in 90 seconds. No one else really had that.[/QUOTEThe thing is that Dane didn't "have it all"... no switch pow landings, no buttery pillow moves, no jibs.
he threw down a banger, but his variety wasn't quite there. a few repeat tricks as well... cork 7 tail and dub 10 tail were in there a couple times each.
sammy had both ways dub 14 rodeos, and that sw L 5 pillow disaster >> L 3 is untouchable.
the judges lean heavy on tricks so it will be interesting to see how their scores shake out.

Bread.The edits didn't give as much stoke as the last ones. Music was so lame, i could never see Wiley willingly pick that song.
