theabortionatorDon't you kind of know which way you're better at spinning from just doing it? Pools, trampolines, jumping off the bleachers in elementary school whatever? Idk.
Had you never spun off of anything non skiing?
HolySchimmelThat's what I ment. All those non skiing spins (especially on the tramp), I don't have a preferred side. Also those test where you lean forwars and check which foot you use to regain balance, that stuff doesn't work for me, I always get mixed results.
I just found that I like spinning right more on skis (on the tramp I usually spin left for some reason)
JosephRikysyou are a very lucky man.
TavastiIm pretty sure most of us spin left naturally. The reason? Idk
MinggI think it has something to do with when spinning left you throw more with your right side, which for most people is the more dominant side. I could be wrong though.
I was a lefty in gymnastics, I skate regular(left foot forward) but when I hit rails I go right foot forward. So I guess it all just depends on the person And what is most comfortable.
Live2ski2142I have a friend that spins left, but slides a rail left foot foward. WTF is his issue?
