Sno.Yeah I'm pretty sure ours is the combined total of this week and next, but now that you mention it you guys bring up a good point about the starters...now I'm pretty worried...a lot of my receivers were eliminated along with my kicker and a running back.
You should be fine. They usually bench starters to rest them for the playoffs.

Right. For whatever reason I hadn't even considered how that would affect my team or hugos, but I can see why some leagues don't go into next week because of it. But yeah i will probably be ok, I still have some good players who have not been eliminated and also haven't clinched so they should still be starting.
three blowout playoff games, i barely made the playoffs at 6-7 (another guy was 6-7 i beat him out by like 50pts) came in as the 6th seed beat #3, #2 then #1 and every team i beat i lost to in the regular season. HYPED

now who wants to get their ass kicked next year?
Congrats man!
I won my non NS league, squeaking into the playoffs at 7-6 in the 4th seed. Lost my last two regular season games but managed to keep it together and win it all. So excited. Before this year I had never won a playoff game.
And we should definitely do the NS league again next year. I'll try to remember you want in.

I agree. The NS league was really fun. I definitely want back in.
haha, hey, come on! Yeah maybe not as experienced or knowledgeable as some...BUT, I swapped players every week, changed my line-up, paid close attention, read up on fantasy dos-and-donts, got into it, and did my best, so it wasn't all luck! :) Am I making a trophy for myself then? I just might have to--and it gets shipped to next years winner.
lost the final by 4 pts. oh well still get a good payout. this is my 3rd year and first time making it past the first round of playoffs. kind of glad its over though, such a love hate relationship with this haha

I won my league through work(i work for nike). Haven't gotten paid yet. Grand prize is around $300 I'm guessing. Here is my roster.
Seahawks TQB (stupid espn)
Arian Foster-RB
Frank Gore-RB
Torrey Smith-WR
Demaryius Thomas-WR
Marques Colston-WR
Martellus Bennett-TE
Texans-D/ST
Matt Bryant-K
BENCH
Panthers-D/St
Greg Jennings-WR
Justin Tucker-K
Ravens TQB
Terrance West-RB
Tim Wright-TE
Carlos Hyde-RB
.Hugo.You cant give him the trophy though, id assume he wont get invited back since he quit playing.
This is true, maybe give it to second place? First loser gets the losers trophy? Second place is more likely to want to come back and get another shot.

flatlandI'm 100% down again, need to reclaim my title from the first year we did it.
Thanks again to steezy_p for running it, you've done a great job for three years now and I hope you'll do it again next year.
Also feeling the need to shotgun more beers with people over the internet again.
Chewy. The draft was such a blast. I'm stoked to get drunk with strangers on Google hangouts again.
Thanks Steezy_P, you did a great job. Can't wait to do better next year.
Agreed, was great again. Really enjoyed the draft we did this year. Thanks Steezy_P.
Do we want to make any changes for next year? The tie thing mid season was a bit of a mess. So now may be a good time to suggest any changes to the commish.
I vote anyone who activly participated in last years league gets dibs on a spot if they want in again.

Yeah, anyone who was active kept it fairly competitive this year and should be back in if they want.
We went through the same tie breaking debacle in my other league and ended up using fractional points as a way of avoiding it. You get .1/ruyd or reyd and .04/payd. If you end up with a tie that way, oh well. If it happened in the playoffs, the higher seed would move on. It makes ties way less likely to occur and doesnt penalize players who are stashing injured players or not holding 3 qbs on their roster like bench points does.
Since it sounds like more are interested next year, we could expand to a 12 team league as well. I've done 12 team leagues where 6 teams make the playoffs with the division winners getting first round byes and it's worked really well. Seems to keep almost everyone in contention until the last few weeks so everyone continues to pay attention.

Expanding to 12 sounds good, but no more. Played in a 12 man league this year, was still able to get people off waivers and stay with the leaders. Near end of the season tho that got really tough.
As for fractional points, maybe we just go PPR? .5 per reception? Ive not played PPR. I imagine that will change the value of players drastically.
The league manager Steezy_P has to create and award virtual trophies on ESPN so that we can just keep the same league and all of our stats going into next year.

PPR just tends to make more players valuable, which works in a larger, deeper league. I like PPR personally but still think we should do fractional points to make ties less probable.
stoked to hear none of you guys want to overthrow me next year!
Great season from everyone. Money has been sent out, and I am super bummed that the season is already over. We will need to jump on formatting, money, league size, etc.... pretty early next year so we can work out all of the flaws from this season.
also i'm interested in the ns league next year. i was close to joining this years but had a ton of shit going on around the final draft days and didn't think i'd be able to participate.
ForcilloIs there any room in the ns league for next year? I'm interested in joining if there are spots
Pretty early to be starting on this. Just keep an eye out for the thread as we get close to the season. I think the way we said it, first dibs is people who were in the league last year. Maybe well start a cult to message people

It's too early for fantasy football but where's the football thread at? Combine is this week and I need to speculate wildly about the draft and talk about how the Raiders are turning it around before they go 5-11
