Dude was a true og but he gets no love, he was putting out ski movies almost 20 years before warren miller . I watched the best of john jay this summer and the guy was half stand up comedian half shredder. His movies were showing the progression of skiing when it was at its highest (like the inventions of chairlifts and shit) and it shows a lot of history of some classic mountains and resorts like mount snow, alta, and squaw and big shit like cham and Zermatt. Some parts are pretty cheesy but then hes got some seriously gnarly shots out of Africa.
