I've heard really positive things and really negative things about the quality of surface skis. I have some brand new double times and am skeptical as to the durability of them... any thought?
It's like 50/50 with durability on them. You might get a good pair you might not. Mine have held up great. I have one life's. Another guy I know throws down on his one life's. He broke one pair but he had a warranty on them and got them replaced. I'll post a link to the vid of the guys one life's being thrown down on here in a sec.
Yeah so we throw down on our skis. Hit a lot of natural features and crap and they hold up well. Lee swassing is the guys name. Rocker park skis. Wears a white shirt for some of the vid and a blue shirt other part of the vid.
I had a pair of last years new one times and while they were fun on occasion they are one of the worst skis i've been on on it was astounishing at how quickly they started to fall apart. I only used them right in mid season so I wasn't hitting big rocks or anything with them.
To add on to my last post i'm not trying to bring surface down because I think there a good company and my ski might have been one in a million but the one times were just not a great ski and they fell apart quickly.
